“Taco Daze” is Scandia’s Annual Community Festival held the Saturday after Labor Day each year and is sponsored by the Scandia-Marine Lions Club.Taco Daze Schedule:
Pickleball Tournament – 10 am – 3 pm
Scandia-Marine Lions Selling Cheese Curds, Corn Dogs, and Ice Cream – 10 am – 5 pm
Vendors, Farmers Market, and Non-Profits – 10 am – 5 pm
Activities for Children and Dunk Tank – 10 am – 5 pm
Prairie Anthem (band) – 11 am – 1 pm
Boy Scouts Selling their World-Famous Tacos – 11 am – 4 pm
Car, Truck, and Tractor Show – 12 pm – 4 pm
Beer Garden – 12 pm – 4 pm
The Next Best Thing (band) – 1 pm – 3 pm
Penny Scramble for Children – 2:30 pm
Elvis Look-a-Like Contest (cash prize) – 3:00 pm
Running of the Meatballs – 3:30 pm
Parade – 4 pm (Grand Marshall – 100 year old Scandia resident, Mignon Johnson)
