Now in its 35th year, the Christmas Tour of Homes continues to feature lavishly decorated homes. Celebrate the holidays with a fantastic tour of four spectacularly decorated homes and the Octagon House Museum.
Two Tour Options:
EVENING DAZZLE TOUR
Friday ONLY, November 19th, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Visit four privately-owned homes during the evening hours when each home sparkles and glows!
Transportation is NOT included.
Your ticket is also good for touring the historic Octagon House only on Saturday or Sunday.

TRADITIONAL TOUR
Saturday, November 20th, 10:00am-5:00pm
Sunday, November 21st, 12:00pm-4:00pm
This popular, daytime tour features four privately-owned homes and the historic Octagon House Museum decorated for the holiday season.
The Traditional Tour includes a FREE optional shuttle service with stops to dine and shop along the way during the hours of the traditional tour only. For convenient parking and shuttle service, start your tour at Plaza 94 by parking at the South Side of Ward Ave Parking Lot. Parking is free. (For returning tour attendees, please note that the shuttle will not stop at Hudson House Grand Hotel.)

*Tickets purchased by November 12 will be entered into the Door Prize drawings at local stores and the Grand Prize drawing in each home.

TOUR LOCATIONS
OCTAGON HOUSE
Exhibition will include displays and interpretation focused on Old World Christmas traditions in the New World. Visitors to the Octagon House will learn the origins of traditions carried from the Old World, shared among settler families (like the Moffat’s of the Octagon House in Hudson), and blended into a New World Christmas.
FOURTH STREET HOME
A modern farmhouse in downtown Hudson filled with windows offering views of the St. Croix River as well as Prospect Park. The eclectic decorating style includes unique souvenirs and mementos in addition to greenery throughout the home.
AUDUBON LANE HOME
What started as a simple cabin in the early 1900s is now a mid-century modern ranch style home overlooking Lake Mallalieu. It features simple details, white woodwork, an exterior stone fireplace, an interior fireplace with a slate and cherry hearth, a cherry guitar wall, a ‘60s mid-century room, fur and slate floors, and a large deck.
FRIENDSKEEP GREEN HOME
Each room of a home that could be described as a San Francisco modern beach house features a different theme, providing a variety of Christmas experiences. This will surely get you in the holiday spirit. Look for the secret passageway connecting the children’s rooms.
SIXTH STREET HOME
A Queen Anne Victorian includes original flooring, woodwork, and Eastlake style hardware. The main level is decorated with Bradbury and Bradbury wallpapers featuring nature-inspired designs. You will find art pieces from around the world on every level. Each room has a different theme, each doorway is a portal to a new world. Expect the unexpected with its eccentric and whimsical elements.
*The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau will be following current CDC guidelines at all events.
Hudson Christmas Tour of Homes Safety Protocols
As there is a continued high level of community transmission of COVID, please be aware of additional COVID safety protocols and advisories by the St. Croix County Public Health Department.
- Masks are welcomed and recommended in the homes.
- Masks are Required on the shuttle bus, per Federal mandate requiring masks on all public transportation.
- Masks are strongly encouraged for those unvaccinated or those vaccinated and vulnerable to infectious diseases.
- Stay home if you have mild symptoms and are not feeling well.
- Please allow 6 feet space from other attendees while in line or entering and exiting the homes.
- Sanitize your hands often. Hand sanitizer will be available at each home.
