VinterLights
A holiday celebration in Scandia, Minnesota that kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of the city’s holiday lights.
Enjoy the lighting ceremony at the Scandia Community Center where there will be two fire pits, cookies, and hot chocolate.
At 5 p.m., the lights at the Community Center, Gammelgården Museum, and Elim Lutheran Church as well as the snowflakes on the light posts along the streets will be lit.
The 2024 event will take place on Sunday, December 1, with the following activities:
Artisan market – At Scandia City Hall from 12 PM, featuring local artisans, live music, treats, and tree lighting at 5:30 PM
Lighting ceremony – At the Scandia Community Center at 5 PM, with fire pits, cookies, and hot chocolate
Lighting – At the Community Center, Gammelgården Museum, Elim Lutheran Church, and light posts along the streets
VinterLights is a community event sponsored by the City of Scandia, the Scandia-Marine Lions, Gammelgården Museum, and Elim Lutheran Church.
