2021 was an amazing Karl Oskar Days!  The weather and people were great, and a fun mix of new and traditional events made it extra special.  Beach Park on the west end of downtown was full of new activities for ALL ages, including laser tag, bouncy houses, paintball and awesome free shows.  Memorial Park (next to the Chisago Lakes Chamber building), had a wide variety of kids activities, magic shows, food trucks, a huge shade tent, and all of the information booths.  The retail vendors were moved to our new “Downtown Marketplace” in the heart of downtown, which put them in close proximity to most of our boutiques and retail shops.

Our traditional events, such as our fireworks, golf tournament, 5k run/walk loppet, parade and Street Dance are always a big hit.  The hugely popular KOD Car Show is moving back to the St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church parking lot in downtown Lindström for 2022.

Other KOD events include: Downtown Diva Night & other daily shopping events, Farmer’s Markets, a bean bag tournament, family bingo, a photography show, pickleball and basketball tournaments, a homerun derby, Karl Oskar House tours and events, and more.
